About us
Walkers of the Labyrinth is a Philadelphia‑rooted practice offering trauma‑aware, accessible labyrinth experiences for people of all ages. Led by Athena Dugan—Certified Advanced Labyrinth Facilitator, teaching artist, and community partner—we bring contemplative walking into parks, gardens, schools, libraries, festivals, and neighborhood spaces across the city.
What We Do
• Facilitated Walks — Public, private, and community‑centered walks designed with care, clarity, and personal agency at the center.
• Labyrinth Building — Temporary, portable, and permanent labyrinths created for events, rituals, and civic spaces.
• Programs & Partnerships — Collaborations with schools, libraries, gardens, and organizations to support reflection, healing, and embodied learning.
• Resources for All Ages — Coloring pages, handheld labyrinths, and creative tools that make the practice accessible anywhere.
Our Approach
Every offering is shaped to be spacious, grounding, and welcoming. We honor lineage, community wisdom, and the diverse ways people enter contemplative practice. Whether someone is seeking clarity, connection, or simply a moment to breathe, we create environments where each person can move at their own pace.
Our Commitment
We believe everyone deserves a place to slow down and reconnect—with themselves, with one another, and with the land beneath their feet. Walkers of the Labyrinth exists to make that possible, one step at a time.
